Guys, I am discontinuing Hindu and going with Indian Express.What do you feel??? Hindus,editorial are worthless this days.Many few issues and topics are covered.I am going with Frontline as an aid to Indian express. Pl assert your opinion.
@Madhu To be honest I never liked The Hindu - the articles are most of the time too opinionated plus I do not agree with their left oriented politics. Nevertheless, I read it since almost everyone suggests Hindu and I don't want to miss on something that everyone else seems to be doing. If you have sociology optional, Hindu does have some good social issues. Nevertheless, if you don't mind reading news paper online, you can read IE for free.
I am studying The Indian Express since November (as main newspaper) and The Hindu (as supplement).
Result : More than satisfied. IE is a complete package and recently The Hindu is performing very bad.
But just take a look at editorials of The Hindu because some editors are very good of The Hindu too. And you need science and tech. of Hindu (though 2013 paper has diminished its utility).
My base news paper is Indian Express and I supplement that with TheHindu 'editorials' only !! Lead Article in TheHindu goes over my head so I ignore them !
