  • I don't think for the first attempt there will be time left to indulge in hobbies.

    just chill
  • Where there’s a will, there’s a way :) Exercise (body building) happens to the best antidote for the stressful UPSC cycle, either it’s 1st attempt or last attempt. I’m with you.

Howuch time you are left with?
  • do 10 pushups after every pomodoro session of 25 minutes.
if you've pull up bars at door you can try that too
There are multiple push up variations to try so you'll not be bored.

Still you need extra then buy pair of dumbbells and do shoulder exercises every morning and evening (and jogging too if time and pollution permits)

anything above this will lead to MRI test phase and hospitals as injury is a part of bodybuilding (push any harder and it will wreck you down)

Conclusion - Keep your joints warm, fill Calisthenics Body-weight Workout as hobby in DAF and hit the Gym after mains for 4 to 8 weeks.
  • Depends on the time you have .

Gym for an hour or two would be the ideal choice if you are already accustomed .
Exercise really helps a lot as stress buster , boosts confidence . (Professional bodybuilding is a different game though ,a lot of tweaks with diets and supplements , which will be detrimental to the prep)
  • Max 1 hr is ok. provided you should not get tired and sleep. So, Plan accordingly . As hobby shld be part of your life . This s my opinion
    All d best
  • Exercise takes very less time, even if u r a advanced bodybuilder,3 days per week is enough provided u lift with high intensity.I don't understand in what way u r feeling it interrupts with ur studies.I am sure no one could read all the time
  • I'm a bodybuilder not in the sense of getting on the stage and winning medals but I only want to keep being fit with lean muscles. I'm spending 1 hour in the gym for 3 days per week alternatively not because it interrupts my studies, but because I get bored easily when I go to the gym daily. You need to have a proper schedule for both studies and gym and follow it religiously so that you won't feel exhausted or overworked.
