  • jab tak kisi ko time na de sako, pyaar/shaadi mat karna..
society norms are bullshit. these norms wont be same when we grow old. when u interact with some unmarried old person today, he will give u perspective of his times and people of his times but today society and people are totally different.
society is churning and something liberal is gonna come out of it. India will have a different society in 20-30 yrs
  • Marriage is beautiful if the partners understand each others feeling and respect. To be a good father and a good husband is an art. Marriage makes happier, makes a man responsible and accountable.
    P. S. I am married <3
  • Some weeks ago, I met a girl online. Hot, sexy, a 9/10 any day.

I seduced her into my bed on our first date, and you know the consequent stud feeling. I'm a 4/10, when I make efforts.

We were lying on the bed and I casually asked her what's your plans for the week. She said she wanted to spend time with her boyfriend. I said okay.

WHAT..?? BOYFRIEND..?? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME..?? :astonished:

She said she just wanted to have fun. I felt kinda broken. Coz in the hindsight I had even thought of how many kids we're gonna have. :naughty:

Life is indeed funny. And the joke was on me. :smirk:
  • Unbelievable Man. England won yesterday by 1 wicket. :astonished:

I left watching when it was 114/8. Still they managed to get over the line. What's happening to Aussies..?? :astonished:

Although it's a sample of 1, I met an uncle yesterday who came to meet my building mate who didn't marry . Now he is in his late forties.
He crossed his normal marriage age 25-30-35 years doing boys stuff. Now he comes and meets still doing boys stuff . Though he has a stable job and but I see no stability otherwise.
Earlier in a joint family, single man or woman could manage to get support eg a woman who looses her husband or a disabled man who couldn't get married. But now in cities, it does get lonely. After all, when your friends play with their kids then the realisation strikes of what one is missing
Again it can be argued that why follow the norm and get bogged down by social, peer pressure and we should make our own decisions.( Taiyari karna mushkil lag Raha hain na which is a temporary phase for few years, being single for rest of life would be more difficult )
It needs to be seen that marriages as an social institution has evolved since thousands of years. This is one aspect of society which has evolved positively.
In ultra-modern societies, we also see live-in relationships getting equal status without the social obligation part. So ultimately it is about being with the right person whether you marry or not. If you find a friend like that, I guess even that's manageable or if you find something meaningful to do in life then also life becomes liveable.
