yesterday i was discussing this topic with my mom, trying to tell her that i hav no intention in falling this marriage trap, though she was convinced with my arguments....but at last she ended the conversation saying- 'society me log kya kahenge.....'
* To publicly declare your love in front of friends and family in a formal ceremony. Gives a sense of security. * because you are getting old. Going fat/ bald/becoming ugly. So get married. * all your friends are getting married. * school, college, job done..ab shadi karle. * how will your siblings get married. * khandan aage kaise badhega. Give us grandkids. Get married. * sharma uncle ke bete ki shadi ho gayi. * you are irresponsible.get married. * mammi ko ladki pasand hai. * to get unlimited, socially acceptable s** * I need someone to help my mother.wife will do. * you get bored of single life.
* If two ppl really fall in love with each other .
old adage still true - Men marry to get safe , licensed supply of sex and women trade sex to have a certificate of marriage and thereby feeling secure .
The root cause of sufferings in this world is marriage.
Why do people still marry either with great enthusiasm or considering it a basic necessity ?
Why not live single ?
Please give rational/ independent thought and not the one influenced by tradition and customs.
I interacted with some of unmarried and aged people (both men and women) and asked them whether they are happy with their decision to not get married or do they regret of being not able to get married ? Majority of them regrets for not being married or having family. Decision of being single feels great when you are generally at young, energetic and enthusiastic, but as you age you start to feel lonely as everyone around you would be having their own family and they moved on with their lives. Even the people who you think are your closest one (father, mother and brothers etc) will not remain so in due course of time. If you can concur the feeling of being lonely then you can remain single.
