Influence toh definitely hua Hoon, I won't deny that, but 4 saal ka experience bhi hai preparation ki. Aur nabard aur RBI ke mains bhi Diya hai. Usme economics ke it random question aate hai, phir bhi log 65+ score karte hai. Toh ye sochna ki paper tough hoga toh cut off drastically decrease ho jayega bewakoofi hai.

speculation about cutoff is wastage of time and it is childish to believe on so called "insider" as UPSC will never reveal cutoff. if insider knows cutoff 10 days before the result they must be knowing prelims questions before the exam , just think abt this. Yes they may say roughly date of result reading newspaper reports. Aise bhi main tukka laganguga around 10 july ke around result atega to sahi ho sakta hai kyuki tabtak exam ke 38 days ho jaenge. Ye emotions k sath khelte hai.
You have raised a valid point. But question paper setting is done in secret while the cutoffs etc. are decided in open meetings and non-confidential file notings. Usually the Under Secretary (CSM) initiates the file noting for cutoff. His noting is based on CSP notification and OMR checking output. UPSC chairperson has the final word on cutoff. He can increase the cutoff and thus the intake by a few hundred or so. Files move through the sections and officers. So, the section officers, the ASOs etc. indeed have access to the cutoff info. Insider info is a real thing. Depends on who you know.

I am getting 120-125 in paper 1, but the thing is I am getting very low 60-65 in paper 2; any chances??
It happened with me last year. Couldn't get through the prelims. But remember that upsc keys wrt to paper 2 varies from coaching keys so you might get through.
