Sahi baat, situation ye hai ki log specific books pe aa gae hai.... As I am seeing few peoples comment..

This exam is all about how sincere you are about the preparation... jo targets yahan pe likhe jaa rhe hai agar sincerely follow ho rhe hai to I think it's enough to clear prelims..
My 2 cents Standard books + The Hindu (Not superficially but in depth) + 1 another good source of CA (either vision or vision + insights both if possible) is enough to clear prelims.

P.S. Tukkabaaji also comes with wisdom
Bhai 'in depth' wala part bss thoda explain kijiye

I can't stop myself from asking this. I am facing some serious issue. I am misreading things, specially online and some offline as well. For eg. I read water holding capacity as water boiling capacity, I misread the comment by w00t as a comment by Prowess. There are many other examples. bhai logon aap logon ke saath bhi hota h, ya I have some reading disorder. :)
Kuch nahi foonkta hoon bhai(if that's what someone guessing).

Explaining by giving the example of today's news - like Odisha govt is collaborating with RIMES for automating risk mgmt, advisory generation and dissemination of information, we need to go through RIMES as well

Odisha government on Friday entered into a collaboration with the Regional Integrated Multi-Hazard Early Warning System (RIMES), a body of 48 members
and collaborating countries, aimed at automating risk management, advisory generation and dissemination.
    - The RIMES is an intergovernmental body registered under United Nations.
BY 45 countries of Asia and Africa region.
    - Established in 2009 and India is the chairman.
    - It operates from its regional early warning centre located at campus of Asian Institute of Technology in Pathumthani, Thailand.
    - It has evolved from efforts of countries in Africa and Asia in aftermath of 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.
  • Like in ground zero page which talks about Rohingyas refugees we have reference of Medecins Sans Frontieres aka Doctors about Borders so need to know about that as well..

Medecins Sans Frontieres --> Doctors without borders (HQ. GENEVA) --> International humanitarian medical non-govermental organisation of french origin -->
Projects in conflict zone and countries affected by endemic diseases

Laxmikant aur spectrum nahi padhoge? Aur spectrum ki jagah TN12 sahi hoga? Ek monthly CA magazine must hai with 3 times revision. Aur environment chhod doge? Batao batao kya karoge .
  • but as far as *in-depth* reading is concerned I wud like to add that rank 2 Anu ma'am didn't read the hindu at all , instead she relied on insights+vision which she did diligently.
no strategy is perfect i guess.

2+1 dialogue proposed by China -

2+1 dialog mechanism by China : India, China and south asian country like Nepal
Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence (PanchSheel) advocated by China --> The principles rose to fame at the Bandung Conference in 1955, which set the
    stage for the Non-Aligned Movement.
    Given by Nehru -
    1. Mutual respect for each other’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
    2. Mutual non-aggression.
    3. Mutual non-interference in each other’s internal affairs.
    4. Equality and cooperation for mutual benefit.

  • USA announced to quit UNHRC (Go in depth about which institutions earlier USA quitted as well) -

USA announced that they are quitting :
UN Human Rights Council, which it accuses of bias against Israel, established in 2006 to promote and protect human rights worldwide. (HQ. GENEVA)
Earlier left UN cultural agency UNESCO, cut UN funding and announced plans to quit the UN-backed Paris climate agreement.
Also from UN global compact on migration

Inke baare mein bhi padh lo.. bas yahi hai in depth..

So true. I will say everyone can a have a different perfect strategy for themselves. But only after selection in exams, the worthiness of that particular strategy is proved.
