How many questions you were sure about and how many of them were guesswork? what combination of references work for you? Please share some tips. What to do to improve the chances of passing with good enough marks above cutoff?
Bhai keep it simple.....kai question intuition / logic pe based hote hai....and ....kitne sure and kitne guesswork...mere khayal se koi nahi ginta xm ke time.....(kyunki 100% surity wale question bahut kam hota)......... Just revise basic book ( as many time as u can)... And practice test.....aur xm ke din mandir chala jana , with 10k intake .....it is necessary to go mandir.....i m atheist but i will also go

Sir. This has worked out for me till now. My accuracy is also good. Gut feeling for me most of the times are correct. Revision of static part multiple times so tht u shld not get any ques frm it wrong. In risk taking i think it can be develop only by solving more and more good qlty test series. Mark the ques for which u hv taken risk, if u hv answered it wrong then chk why did u ans tht particular ans , wat was the logic behind and wat assumptions u made while answering it. Then chk the detailed ans . Do this kind of analysis for the ques which u got correct ans also. It will help u in 2 ways one, to bring conceptual clarity and 2 , to develop ur logic. Also dnt take unnecessary risks for those ques which u hv never heard or read of. If u ans such ques , most probably it will be wrong. All the best.
I think apart from revisions of basic sources most important thing is mcq solving skills which will develop only with extensive test series solving. It is a mcq solving skills only which will help you get through the prelims because in actual exam no one knows answers surely for not more than 50 questions. So you have to take the risk of solving more than 20 questions further in which you will be having less information or 50:50 confused, in this situation only your mcq solving skills will sail your boat.

It is a mcq solving skills only which will help you get through the prelims because in actual exam no one knows answers surely for not more than 50 questions. Only padhai.. dedicated revision only.. if you know the facts you can answer the questions.. if you don't know you leave the questions.. if you partly know then you apply logic.. and logic doesn't work always.. so if you want to move from don't know and partly know to know the facts category.. keep revising.. study hard..
P.S. Common sense and logic works in few questions apart from knowledge but you cannot rely solely or partly on them to clear prelims.
