The perpetually active social media people are private sector tax payers who consider government jobs as luxury they are deprived of. So obviously they are going to support this move relentlessly . I don't think someone who is in defence sector of government is full of patriotism and sense of service vis a vis others. They too are there for same reasons of job security, money and respect nothing else. And yes if the honourable parliamentarians thinks that it will improve discipline, work ethics etc they shall first look to themselves. How dare they talk about things which they themselves didn't practise, every duty is meant for government officers and they are there to loot the country, nurture crony capitalism. If they are so much concerned about defence sector then why is India armed with huge dependency from others, why no constructive debate on raffle deal, consistently decreasing tender to defence pays and simultaneous increase to Ambanis .

Mandatory service de do mujhe but fayada kya. Modern wars are fought in cyberspace. Example revival of blame game between USA and Russia Again, how about profession based or interest based mandatory service. Ips ko defence de do, ias ko gaon bhej do, etc etc
It should also be mandatory for MLA and MP. MLAs and MPs needs to defend border for at least 5 years. Otherwise, ECI should cancel their candidature. Bakaiti karalo bas apne netaon se..
