I am getting 109.33 according to shanker and vajiram key.....including IVC : 1and 3 only
In RTV ...I have checked Constitutional Right... which I am considering it as wrong according to shanker and vajiram key.....
what are my chances of clearing prelims this time???
Insha Allah you'll be through. I too have marked the same in both. I believe that the IVC one is a 100% correct because it's directly lifted from some book, verbatim. UPSC doesn't complicate things unnecessarily, & therefore 1&3 must be correct. This book-stuff has been shared in some thread previously.
RTV I think should be legal. However, some NCERT says that it's constitutional. I too have considered this as wrong. Fingers crossed, though.

Assumptions: (i) First of all, india Bhai petition last year regarding obc discrimination by upsc will hurt general candidate in 2017 also as it happened in 2016.... (ii) 2015 ko moderate manna hu 2016 ko easy 2017 difficult (iii) 2015: 1179, Selected candidates ~15000 2016: 1209, Selected candidates ~15500 2017: 988, Expected Selected candidates ~12600
Analysis:
(i) After india Bhai petition: general and obc difference in easy paper is 5.33 .....so extrapolating to moderate paper 4.33 marks and difficult paper 3.33 marks.... so 2015 revised cutoff based on above analysis: obc was 104.66 and general 109 (ii) Now consider in 2016 seats hoti 2015 ke barabar....to cutoff min 1 mark increase hota....matlab revised 2016 cutoff 117..... (iii) Matlab agar 1179 seats hai to....easy paper mein 117 and moderate mein 109....to difficult mein 101...as moderate is generally mean of easy and difficult...... lekin asliyat mein to difficult level badane ke cutoff bahut nhi gat ta kyoki upsc jaise exam mein to sab 24x7 ratta maarte hai ya padte hai.... usko dekhte hue kariban 2-3 marks to upar chadega..... finally 103.33. maante hai...(beech kar figure) (iv) lekin seats to 1179 hai nhi balki keval 988 hai.....matlab kariban 2500 bache kam select honge....ab har 1 marks par kariban 600-700 bache hote hai....list ke end par......matlab 3.33 marks to badega pakka to final cutoff hua 103.33+ 3.33 =106.66 for general....
obc ke liye vhi 3.33 decrease karo to aaya 103.33
(v) Akhir mein SC ka kariban 11-12 marks kam hota hai obc se....aur sc and st ka difference around 3-4 marks category 2016 2015 obc 110.66 106 sc 99.66 94 st 96 91
(vi) Lekin paper difficult to gap kam hoga ......is hisaab se SC cutoff: 93.33(10 ka difference maana hai) and 90.33( 3 ka difference)
