@Aristodemus 2018 ke liye kiya karein Log ye bhi guess maar daalo bhai. Kisi ka bhala hoga is thread se.
kaun kaun se marine animals bache hain koi nayi disease aney do africa me,koi naya communication technology evolve hone do,koi nayi renewbale source of energy market me aney do,then i will make a bettr guess.ab biofuels ,batteries ,lifi wifi bluetooth, nfc(commuincation technoloies)ye sab upsc prelims ke favourite topics hain, ghum fir kar ek do saal me a jatey hain,i had solved many years PYQs to get an idea . i had written socio religious reforms is very important, har saal ek do question a jatey hain, last year keshab chandra wale question ke baad i knew ki examiner spectrum ke alawa bhi koi book pdhta hai,so did it nicely,ab bhakti sufi movements wale PYQs ncerts se solve nahi hote,so i did from other books.there r some chpaters in ncerts from where questions are picked directly,i did them properly.ek do saal pehle kalariyepattu aya tha, usse pehle shayad sattariya aya tha,so i prepared that segment nicely, intangible heritage list, claasical dances etc i did nicely,so sankirtan i got right.reports to sab ko pata tha upsc puchhti hai n i guess that was the easiest question his time.preamble se 2015 me direct question tha,is baar do questons a gaye, padhna bas ek para hi hai, small chapter hai, ensuring someone 1-2 correct answers.baaki i m not in a position to do bhala bhai,i just shared what i had done with some proof.some logical guesses also do wonders.now himalays and western ghats are favouite areas of upsc in india.one should do them nicely.options were not easy but atleast the areas shuld be covered while preparation even if one got them wrong in exam.thats my point.
1. The questions are just extension from 2015 and 16 prelims.(from options or questions) 2. Maximize attempt . Atleast 85 to get selected. 3. Donot overkill by focussing too much on english in the statement. 4. Answer at first instance come from unconscious and is correct mostly. 5. Revise revise revise 6. Newspaper and general awareness on day to day life is must apart from current affairs modules.
With few Qstns debatable.. I am hovering around 120 again 121 in 2016. What worked for me is- Hobby of reading Extra UPSC- curriculum books..... e.g. biography of Nani Palkhiwala (All insights into so called subjective Polity Qstns ☺️ ) And doing Current affairs in last one month....
this was the type of thread i was talking about..last year 3-4 bandho ne aisi threads banyaa tha wo mains mein ludak gaye aur phir pre de rahe hey. just ask ppl to post their strategy dont disclose ur marks here. nazar lag jayega sach mein.
