Paper 1= 95 approx Paper 2 = 80 ( really scared about paper 2 now coz I have seen lots of variation in official answer key compared to the keys available in market now. )
Is 95 Enough in paper 1?M getting that much from 140 last year..
Don't know bro. Let's see,. Even though I don't have much expectations this year but I'm happy that paper was very unexpected and it was bound to fail or score less. So no worries now. Chill maro. Enjoy at least a week.
My Paper 1 is on safer side, but in Paper 2 I got a rude shock when I tallied my marks. I am borderline with my marks being 67-68 according to Shankar key.
Last year also I had calculated around 97 marks according to CL, but eventually got around 114. So still hopeful.. Fingers Crossed !!!
ForumIAS gave me 105 now vaji,Shankar 100.67 worst case scenario 95.67.. Cut off any guesses? paper 2 120+ Anybody scoring 100+ in p1 but flunking/on border in paper 2?

Last Year 141.34 Gave Interview ST category This year made lot of silly mistake scoring 95-100.could have easily crossed 110,if not for those mistake.Still Hopeful. This was my 2nd attempt
My Take on cut off. Factors 1.Less seats 2.More Number of Applicant 3.Material available readily 4.Next generation better than previous 5.most people taking risks due to high cut off last year ending up attempting 85+,Benefitting some ..taking cut off on higher side due to sheer luck 6.Tougher paper,Elimination doesn't worked like it did last year.I had done 10-15 question on basis of elimination last year.this year Ended in Negative
Finally my say,it doesn't matter much,as me too on boundary line this year General 110 Obc 104 sc 98 st 94
+/-2
Material is always readily available bro. Next generation is good, but may or work this time. Last year graduation final year students who mugged pt365 could clear. This time no pt365 not any coaching material helps.
Polity needs depth in subject to score which may not be present with freshers. This is veteran advantage.
Be optimistic.
Easiest paper 2016 cutoff is 96.
2017 toughest paper in years. ST 90+ may get through
