@raj728 Kitne the bhai tumhare 2015 & 2016 me ?? I also found this paper tough {2015: 135, 2016: 157.3}

chuck what is ur say on civil services cutoff, pls comment, will it be same as last year
@analyser ... [imo] bhai definitely it will reduce ...no doubt abt it. But m also sure that it will be >105. Is baar chahe tough aaya ho, but still some candidates are scoring 168, 158, etc (168 to shayad last year bi kisi ka nahi tha).
And usually 2 kinds of candidates post their marks on Forum ... 1. Those who are regular here (on Forum) 2. Those who are scoring low or near expected cutoff (slightly above or below) ...aur unki phati hui hai , to yahan cutoff k baare me better idea lene k liye aate hain {largely I also belong to this category}
Non-forum log, jo high score kar rahe honge , wo apna score ni daalte ...
even if it is above 105 what do u think will be upper limit? is it going to cross 116?
106-111 ...not based on any hard facts/info/logic , just a hunch

Ye "last year predictions" 16th Sept 2016 ya 5th June 2017 ko nikaale the kya bhai ?? Kuch zyada hi accurate nahi ho gya ... anyways ...GREAT

Many high scorer last time are reporting dip of 10-15... i think difference btw Civils n IFoS shud come down.. but all this is speculation... has been asking many frnds..selected n non-selected.. all are quite potential.. everyone is sliding down this time... par fir bhi fat rehi h... natural tendency ..cant come over it... best to come out mental trauma to start preparation without thinking much..

It wont cross 116 (last year's cutoff)
definitely ... but why are even talking about not crossing 116 ? 110 itself seems redline ? agree ?

Cannot say anything for sure bhai ...but imo 110 se 1-2 upr ja sakti hai
Reason:
Last year, jisne current chaat liya tha (particularly PT 365), uske kaafi aa gye the. Jisne current ko thoda bhi ignore kiya, uska kat gaya tha. So, last year had a very wide range ...many had >150, & many good candidates* had marks in 80s - 90s also. *including those already in service
This time: weightage of both "direct current" & "simple static" has reduced drastically. So, >150 is rare. But many questions were analytical/conceptual , & right answer could be easily guessed. Even those candidates who were not prepared well (including those who were busy in interview), had a scope to obtain a decent score. So range will shrink. 90-120 me bohot saare log honge {last year this peak range was: 80-140} I mean ki iss baar ka Pre kaafi chaotic & arbitrary sa tha...
To shayad , 111-112 bi ho sakta hai ...but definitely probability kaafi kam hai
