2015: 121 (normal paper, assuming base level competition)
2016: 133 (easy paper, & also competition increased slightly)
This yr (seats same):
* difficult level increased ==> downward pressure on cutoff, ... but ...
* competition has increased drastically (some of those u dont usually select/prepare for IFoS, have selected it this year, due to Forest Mains 1month after CSM ...) ==> upward pressure on cutoff

Vacancies utni hi rehti hain har saal IFOs mein ( 110 ) , isliye Vacancies kam ya zyada ke kaaran Cut off mein hone waale variation , yahaan IFOS mein laagu nahi hona chahiye ......
Aur Paper toh is saal ka Difficult tha hi , undoubtedly ....Better Prepared candidates waali baat bhi yahaan isliye thik lagti kyonki ( agar 5-10 logon ko Chhod diya jaaye ) toh , bahut hi kam log hain aur honge , jo ki 130 ka aankdaa cross kar paaye ho .....
My Take : 115 tak
Aisa koi Hard and Fast Constitonal Law Nahi hai ki , chaahe jo ho jaaye , par IFOS Prelims cut off humesha CSE Prelims Cut Off se zyada hi rahega ..
115 to yaar bohot kam hai .
Khair I also wish ki kam hi jaaye
But 115 is really not a big deal ... {paper was tough, but not so much} ... & even if it is big deal, Forest Pre me sirf 600-700 (General) candidates hi to hote hain select .
And yes, previous years can give us an idea abt the level of competition ... difference in cutoff of CSE & IFoS ...was 14 (2015), 17 (2016)
Anyways I sincerely wish that I am completely wrong.
