CSP Notification and DOs and DON'Ts

What are DOs and DON'Ts to apply for Civil Services.
Any body please shed some light on final year graduates and OBC issues, photo and signature size, dimensions etc.

  • DOs

    1. Statics should be completed first and revise atleast 3 times last month before exam
    2. Current stick 2 two sources 1. Vision ( conceptual) and 2. gktoday ( factual chutiyapa)
    3. Dont get Panic revise as much even if you dont remeber forget once u see options u will remember easily
    4. Only previous year ( all upsc plus few ssc cgl questions) practice no need for heavy test series ( u can solve 3-4 mock test last week )
    5. India year Book 2 times in last month
    6.Dont neglect PIB do read summary every week

    Donts

    1. no need to join or waste time on test series , if u want to solve then selectively solve questions on topic which u find diffuclty in grasphig
    2. Dont predict cutoff before the paper try to score maximum while mizing negatives
    3. Stick to one or two sources for each subject
    4. Dont neglect statics neither cureent nor factual chutiyapa, UPSC is a big chutiya will find a way to trouble you
    5. Dont focus newspaper too much for prelims u can invest time on statics and the end of days visit website like gktoday, insght or civils daily for update

    Notification ll come on 22nd of this month pic & sign dimension will be mentioned it.Get a obc certificate ready (not more than 3yr old) .
    Final year graduates can apply but during the time of interview ur degree certificate should be ready to be produced.

    Only one do - read the notification carefully.
    Only one dont - dont forget to submit both part 1 and part 2.
  • Do apply early as many centres get "Houseful" as the deadline approaches

    This is an overkill and low RoI thing. 2 baat IYB padhne tak optional kaa ek paper taiyaar ho jaayega
