Vatsalya bhai Maine to wo kaha jo movement main sath reh kar dekha.Aur Jo bhi likha Usme kisi ke ma ya pita Ko nhi laya.lekin ap ne Jo comment likha wo galat likha he.
Just got an update from someone following the core group closely that hopes are there till 9th march. Can anyone clarify what is the significance of the date? I asked that person but he didn't respond.
And the other thing I got to know is that the defence from DoPT for not agreeing for extra attempts is that they have already given two extra attempts. The grievance letter stated the years of 2011 to 2015 as the problematic years because of frequent changes. In 2014 they granted 2 attempts. They are saying there was no change in 2012 and 2014 while the change of 2011 was intimated long back and not as late as the 2013 change. All these points are reportedly quoted by DoPT for rejecting our demand.
Now I don't know whether these have been discussed long back. I don't have any idea about Pankaj or Nilotpal. Just wanted to know what are the counter arguments from our side and whether the presence of Nilotpal can counter the logic given by DoPT and make them agree. And a very famous and reliable insider of forum and orkut who has kickass connections in DoPT also told me the same thing. He told the core team has so far not given satisfactory response to this view point of DoPT and categorically denied success for us as long as this is not addressed by the core group.
Kindly don't abuse me. I just got to know what I heard. Please clarify if I'm wrong.
P.S. - I'm also one of those guys languising in Chennai after having exhausted all attempts. While I am recovering from Mains 2016 shock by focussing on IFoS, my heart is still in this.
The simple argument should be that CSAT was in effect for four years. When the government agreed in 2015 that it was a discriminatory paper, the total relief should have been for four years (equal to the number of years this was in place). In fact this should have been demanded in 2015 itself when the movement was in its prime.
The total number of change years were also three - 2011 (CSAT introduced), 2013 (Mains pattern changed) and 2015 (CSAT removed). Even by that logic the total relief should have been three years.
Thus 1-2 compensatory attempts are only logical.
nice argument abhidi.... it holds ground... or else if u have a calibrator, atleast grant as many as attempts as loosed by candidates individually....
Further to add those two attempts were having least benefit for the sufferers whereas those starting their preparation 2015-16 onwards got max. advantage.... Infact, there was no additional relief to aggrieved students ( except one attmpt for 11 candidates in 15) as the attempts were of permanent nature and applicable even now when there is no csat... The candidates of 2010-15 had to face entirely diff. pattern in 2010, then csat in 11, mains changes in 13 and also csat related changes in 2014 &15...
Out of curiosity I turned up at Race Course Metro Station for the flash protest. There were a grand total of 15-20 people there.
Surely whoever is leading this movement has absolutely no ground support whatsoever and therefore relies on desperate pleas on Facebook. I am quite baffled by this to be honest. Any half decent group in Mukherjee Nagar should be able to gather 80-100 students easily any given day. And a protest call should have easily gathered ~200-300. I went back to Mukherjee Nagar from there and talked to some of my old friends who still stay there. As per them this group had some credibility in 2015 and had they requested ground support then, they could have easily managed attendance of a large number of students. But the flop show of 2015 made them lose their credibility. People have simply moved on - either out of Mukherjee Nagar, Gandhi Vihar, Nehru Vihar etc or with their lives. Most are squarely focussing on PCS preparation and do not believe this existing group can get us any extra attempts. I also heard that there is massive infighting among them.
I know Nilotpal. He does speak nicely and coherently and can be a crowd puller. But he alone will not be able to draw crowds unless something 'drastic' were to take place.

+1Sahi baat @abhidi .But ppl at that time asked or were given only 1 attempt.Their argument is that 2011 ppl dint get time fr preparation..
Raha sawal gali dene ko wo main nhi dunga tumhe.Kyunki tum khud ab gali ban Gaye ho.attempt sabko chahiye tha sirf tumhare group Ko nhi.sawal to hum sab puchenge tumse ki Dhoka diya kyun?
