Dnt worry . .but u should start as soon as possible. .always remember there is no seperate preparation for prelims but yes it has a seperate strategy. .so dont sideline mains preparation. .whatever u r doing from the newspaper do a bit analysis and relate that news from the topics given in the syllabus.fir the static portion u can start from history or geography .that would help ..or u can refer insight also ..start it now ..remember you have to clear all three steps before funding ur name in the pdf..and no doubt mains is the most imp one

Hey @stable_graphene, @Che, @psychopath, @doctor_zero, @mr.green n all ..guys what are you doing for the essay ..m askn regarding content ..any specific strategy ...going with regular basis practice?
Yaar...for essay...no any ..preparation right now..... I feel.. one must practice articulation of all the gs stuff u know ..in the form of..essay... Good logical flow....needed.... I got 120 marks...2015..which was not upto mark..as people getting 135 -145 easily....my essay was plane....just concentrated on flow and structure....but people who got higher marks..used facs and gs knowledge...mixed analysis and facts.... I feel...once we have developed ability to articulate..our views on some topics....through practice...then only quotes or facts are useful..or they will look incongrous..... And if we have developed that ability...our gs content is enough ..as far as content is concerned...... So, best ploy would be to practice essay...weekly.... May be we can start a essay writing thread ...for practice..
