Btw can't these guys take back there obc claim....as this is honest mistake n those who have more marks then general /open category..
Upsc has already done that those who were selected at every stage above the general cutoff they were alloted the services as general category only.
Thanks brother as I am little worried about my non creamy layer status ,but I have cleared pre well above any cutoff so in case my mains also goes well I can still get seat as open category... I hope my understanding of issue is correct....thnks

no bro,they have not been alloted any services.
This is plain injustice..you can not say somebody after 5 attempt that now you are not obc on the one hand and keep allocating service previously.
Even if rule are changed the affected parties should be given some time to prepare for it. It is like taking two prelims paper and declaring results on the basis of only one saying we have changed the rule.
There might be cases where obc status are forged but different interpretation of rule in particular year will not stand on judicial scruitny. I hope gruelling effort of candidates will be rewarded by the court.
