mathematical take on cutoff 2016 total intake for mains 2015 ~ 15000 cutoff 107.34 2016 People accept the fact that paper was tough than last year. total vacancy reduced by 50 in notification. and according to India bhai vacancy has increased by 150-200 so reduction of 50 and increment of 150-200 means approx total increment of 100 seats. 13*100= 1300 more candidates for mains now according to trend 400-450 people are there on same marks which means 1300/450 ~ 3 hence it is highly probable that cutoff will be reducing by 2-3 marks. expected cutoff 104-107.
PS: mostly this calculation depends on the sole information that the seats have increased.
