@Captain_Peroxide I am getting a paltry 71.xx Jitne kharab marks is saal aa rahe hain utne to last year aur main UPSC exam mein bhi nahi aaye the...
And regarding question 58(c) the newspapers MAY publish expunged portions but that does not mean they have the FREEDOM to do so. Because they could attract breach of privilege proceedings by doing so. This was dealt with in the Searchlight case wherein the editor had published expunged portions of a speech in Parliament to his detriment!
Do we have a source which says so ? that expunged portion can/may not be published ?
We do have source (Lakshmikant) which says that 444th amendment removes the requirement of permission to publish proceedings unless it is a secret meeting. So, b seems more apt.
The “Give it Up” campaign recently in news is associated with
a Curbing Domestic Violence by moral persuasion
b Prohibition of Consumption of alcoholic Drinks in certain States
c Surrendering Duplicate ration cards
d) LPG subsidy
I thought that in Bihar they have come up with prohibition, so they must have ran this campaign of volutary give up drinking.. and stupidly got this question wrong.
@Captain_Peroxide@DayDreamer : In Q78 on differences between Nagara and Dravidian school, statement 2 which says that: ' The word shikhara in dravida is equivalent to word kalasha of nagara style' I feel that it is called shikhara in nagara school and vimana in dravida school.
@gloomydespair For fundamental duties question, I feel answer is correct. option b is that they are like DPSP mandates to "people" . DPSP are not mandates to people. If that option was to be correct, it should have been framed like "They are mandates to people just like DPSP are mandates to the state".
In anti-defection question what did you mark ?
As far as my marks are concerned, I am searching for chullu bhar paani.

This statement is given verbatim in the temple architceture of NCERT Fine Arts book.
@ForumIAS is there a chance that I might have marked an answer and something else got recorded. I mean I can't mark presence of mountains as a condition for tropical cyclones even if I take the test while sleeping but the solution shows that I marked such an option
Anyways, I think I may have clicked at the wrong place by mistake.

It happen sometimes. When you click an option and all of a sudden you use up/down arrow key, selected option moves to new option.. So after clicking an option, just click on to the white side once...
Yes Captain, something like this must have happened. I am still laughing that mountains are a requirement for tropical cyclone

paper was a mind fuck
I found it really tough.
I feel that it is called shikhara in nagara school and vimana in dravida school.
I am a generally thinking person, so i just have "concerns". I am not 'anxious" or disturbed. I am just trying to figure out things.
Did you find this question unusual?
Fundamental duties enacted in Part IV A of the Constitution are:
a)Enforceable duties and Parliament can impose penalties or punishments for the non-compliance.
b) Like Directive Principles that are mandates to people.
c) Like fundamental Rights that are enforceable
d) No more than meant to create psychological consciousness among the citizens and of education value.
I mean i knew that all a, b and c are wrong but somehow could not mark d
Anyways, I think I may have clicked at the wrong place by mistake.
