I found your answer good with relevant info. But being geography paper we have to make it look so by using geographical terms failing which there is a danger of it appearing as polity answer. Similar questions were asked in mains2015 and even I am working in this area and couldn't yet totally discover. As to this question I guess u could have stated how iit is part of multilevel planning, areas of rural devt. it would cater to, it's contribution to growth of rural growth clusters/hubs, it's connection to growth foci of Mishra etc. I request other members to ponder and add few more points.
P.S keep up this work of daily answer writing and please continue this initiative as it would help several aspirants like me and more would join within due course

Question for tomorrow : What is importance of organic agriculture and why does NE have potential to develop as organic food hub of India? (250 words)
    answer

    correction
India have total 20 agro-ecological zones and out of them 3 are in NE
    additional points
1.you can draw a map showing agro-ecological zones in NE
    2. no scope for farm mechanisation in NE due to hilly topography so organic farming is more conductive
    3. large number of unemployed but skilled youth in NE states
    4. livestock ranching can be easily associated with organic farming in NE states. animal excreta can be used as manure and dietary habit of people in NE is also predominantly nonveg
