I have given Mains with Sociology twice. I have read notes of Ramaswamy Delhi but felt that they were inadequate. Now I feel that books have to be read no matter what if one wants to succeed. Last year(2014) I got 99+115 , this year I fared worse than last year. I am unable to organise the subject matter for reading and I am wasting a lot of time while searching for sources. Can anyone guide me how should I go about it and how to improve my marks in Sociology?

don't think many have cleared from sociology this year. paper-2 was exceptionally bad; it was more like a history paper. is there anyone in top 100 from sociology?
yes i have heard about people clearing with geography which has supposingly been butchered but hardly heard from people with sociology!

Most likely. .judging by the speed of their release of cutoff n marks of recommended candidates
