Hi Everyone,

I am planning to start free lectures for Political Science on the forum.

The initiative is to provide a thought framework for the increasing number of people opting for the subject,specially those preparing by self. The plan i am thinking of is to focus on the thinkers(Political Thought and International politics) majorly with sparing touches to IGP/Comparative politics. The intention is to provide a broad outlay/methodology for understanding the thinkers strictly from an exam point of view (given the subject's vastness we can easily get deviated and subsequently lost)

I would try to cover One thinker or a particular school of thought on a weekly/biweekly basis and would try to cover all important ones right from Plato to Gandhi.

Who am I? Whats my Credibility ?Why am i doing it?

I am also an aspirant, however have been in the game for some time now so just sharing the "Gyan" which i feel would be lost should i not make it to the hallowed PDF.
You can judge on usefulness of the my lectures in subsequent times.

First Thinker i'll be picking up would be Plato .

Do share any suggestions/thoughts on the initiative

P.S. Please refrain from giving negative thoughts, if you dont find the initiative usefull you can always walk away

If i may jump in ,but there is already a guy on YouTube who has made 1 hr videos of all possible thinkers , from plato to neichtze (spelling maybe wrong) .
Try for Indian ones

Can you share the name of that profile

I must say that the videos are indeed useful, Though i just went through the aristotle one right now, but these are definitely usefull material.

Yeah it makes sense. However what I was trying to emphasise on learning the subject from point of view of an aspirant, how to relate the teachings in day to day aspects for better clarity, frame of mind for understanding the thought and not from strict scholarly sense.

Let's do one thing.. Lemme put out a couple of thinker's even if they are in the playlist , it can serve as another source of information and may not be an exact alternative.

Then depending on the response we can decide future topics.

P.S. I am not putting out videos as I neither have the infra nor the time to produce,edit the same. I'd be providing text probably through pdf's or word docs.

Yes that would be a good initiative ..at least we could come to know the way we need to think..if u could put some ans script of the previous year questioned asked and how u experienced guys wrote it would be of immense help.. @Defcon1 @Panditji @Guddu and other experienced one's..
