arz kiya hai-ye exam ka rishta bhi ajib hota hai, sab apna apna naseb hota hai, reh jata hai jo nigaho se dur, wahi question compulsory ho jata hai.......
arz kiya hain...upsc ka rishta bhi ajeeb hota hain jab tum uske pass jao to wo tumse door hota hain.. zindagi dozakh ban jaati hain,,insaan mazboor hota hain. par e dost jis din tum upsc ko dil-o-dimag se nikalo.. us roz upsc tumhare sabse kareeb hota hain...
Himanshu plz don't demoralise others.Admit your weakness.That will help you improve.
I am waiting for someone to say "if you are demoralised so easily how will you handle a district". This line can be use anywhere, no matter the context.
im perturbed why everyone without coming to a thought reaches a district... is this exam all about handling a district?... i know an officer who in his 30 year long career as an IAS handled/posted in a district only for 3 years... merely 10%. then again there are 24 services from this exam and only 2 (less than 10%) require district. i think the aspirants without realizing the ground realities think of themselves as district collector... crazy stuff
Despite a series of failures,I still believe UPSC doesn't award low marks to any one deliberately.Some people simply assume that they have done well.It is more so in case of language papers.People are really very bad in language.
well people who gave 2012 mains knw how pub ad butchering was unintentional or deliberate.... there was a thread in orkut in august(mains exam was scheduled in october) that pub ad will see blood(we never had idea what blood would imply until we saw the paper in exam hall and our marksheets thereafter).... Then again awarding some optionas very liberally and some stringently (even without butchering), changing patterns without giving prior notice and similar measures! what does that imply... i recognise that hard work can b fruitful but we should also be aware of the reality of this institution!

not interested in handling a district.... well can handle it also if given the responsibility.. wont be a problem... if there be be problem, i will be transferred to headquarters... no problem
my subjective viewpoint - there is a chance of randomness. i just hope this randomness favors me. btw in my case, rationality and objectivity has given me only pessimism. so for a change, in this randomness, i place my optimism this time.

can't name openly on a public forum without evidence as that would amount to defamation. but you can ask people about this in ORN (people in their 4th attempt are likely to know it) and they will tell you... publicly, no reason was stated for resignation but we all know why a member would resign? and yes people inside the organsiation had told about this just as a syllabus of pub ad was leaked and major qs came from it in 2014..
