@rahultripathi Bro see ssc thread for this particular rule..I had read one post of ex-ssc CP regarding DoPT rules for fixing upper age limit. What i can recall now is - 1) If exam begins in first half, age limit Cut off should be Jan 1. Say if CSP is in May-June, UPSC can still keep age cutoff as August 1, because CSP is of qualifying nature and marks are not counted. But, in case of ssc, Tier 1 marks are included in merit and hence, upper age cutoff should be Jan 1. So, SSC revised it. With same logic as SSC, CAPF age limit cut off can be kept on Jan 1 as written marks are included in merit. But not sure whether UPSC will do so...+ I don't know the exact rule so can't really comment

If you are getting ITBP, then take this as your last attempt. Joining will come in 2017(by june most probably), not later than that
Itbp training for the 2015 batch(our batch) will start from January/February 2017
