@Sleeplessnights_89 you are right bro, but fake campaigns of postponement were run till the last day, which affected our studies. We were calling upsc,dopt, tweeting,retweeting while none of chennaites was ready to be a locus standi in a PIL. Each and everyone of them was prepared for the exam it seems. They just wasted our time here.
bro campaign was true to an extent...someone from Chennai actually filed a PIL for postponement in high court...but judge refused...but the cause finding favours among other states in a competition is not advisable...it is a heartless process...the moment you turn emotional...other foxes will grab it.... you can empathise, feel pity and contribute for the whole other people..not for aspirants difficult but practical...
man i heard that madras high court quashed the pil for postponement. very sad and disheartening to see that even at the time of crisis the government could not stand by our brothers and sisters.
on the other hand i heard some amazing stories of voluntary efforts by fellow countrymen. kudos you all.
yeah..very heartening to see people help each other during crisis...spirit of India...proud...btw courts always support upsc only...

I think the chennai guys didn't file a pil as they were afraid of upsc backlash even when they had a genuine case...I really sorry to say it but most of the South guys are really scared to fight for their rights ( not talking about illogical things like language and Hindi problem which is political)....they want to follow a fixed path in life and don't want to take risks and fight obstacles...
Yeh agar maharashtra,punjab ya delhi main hota toh students vat laga dalte upsc ki...that's becoz these guys have fighting spirit...they are warriors by descent...

Bhai.. History has a lot to do with it. Punjab haryana up Bihar MP have always been at war internal or external for last 500 years.. This has percolated down to the core..
For example.. A farmer in up / Bihar /MP Bengal never commits suicide... Either he gets over the problem or Picks up the gun.. There is no honour in dying..
