Same situation like the most of you. One advice to all out of the job candidates - If you can get a job, somewhere then do it. Don't depend on this uncertain exam and don't get carried away by the inspirational stories of people who cleared in the 3rd or 4th attempt. They are few, but there are a lot of failure stories out there as well.
I am the worst case here.. passed out Btech from very reputed college in 2011, was placed in a company but did not join and came to delhi directly.. failed in 2012 prelims but i was not prepared well so accepted it and tried hard for next attempt.. cleared 2013 prelims but failed in mains.. I was very disappointed then tried for some backup (like SSC but not successful ).. failed again in 2014 prelims but i thoght i did not focus on prelims that year much and had taken it for granted..
so started preparing for 2015 as a clear shot with full preparation for mains(getting top 20 rank in test series) as well as prelims(I was getting top 10 rank in every test of test series) but yet again failed in 2015.
so in last 4 year only achievement I have is i wrote 1 mains (2013) .. No job nothing... I am highly disappointed and sinking inside..
@AutoGlobe really sorry for u.. try if you can get a job till march.. If not... Don't seek more... Give one more shot as you said you have good ranks in test series..
Wrote college entrace exams if you can afford to not do anything for next 1-2 years... And can take the looks n stress...
First attempt, prepared while working in an MNC for 2 years , was getting ~106. But could not make it..Did not even apply for CAT this year, though have been 95+ %iler thrice (even 99.65 once). Can't leave the job... Don't know what to do, Delhi jaau, ya job k sath self study till prelims, then 4 months k gap k liye leave le k focussed study.... I am in a fix... Any input is welcomed. TIA
Decided... this time will do what people generally don't do after a failure... will pick up Laxmikant, in 15 days will revise what all studied during Prelims preparation, then will move to optional... will take UPPSC to test the preparation and go for it.. I am not being idealist but pragmatic... IF NOTHING CHANGES, NOTHING CHANGES
