mera to yehi exp hai ki until we have very good score..I.e way above d cut off..tab tak success is not sure...hum border Zone me hai ..cut off 105 aprx hai..
hai uthal puthal..uthal lahar.. path se na digane payegi !! manjil aayegi aayegi aayegi.. PS- bhai log lage raho. and always try to be realistic in life. false hopes always harm in long run though one can get temporary comfort.
@Bodo_pandit tera kya hau ? waise false hope kya hai yaar realistic hi hai sab pata tha ki ghus sakte hai, baki iske bharose koi nahi baitha hai i guess although no one is going to leave it either
Second attempt and once again failed to clear even pre. Got around 165 combined last year and was expecting 98 this time, and was just hoping to sale through somehow. Totally devastated and not sure if it is worthwhile to go in for another attempt.
Age 24, 1.5 yrs of corporate experience.
Cleared CDS 2, 2014 (OTA) and waiting for SSB, Allahabad (wont be eligible for another attempt) Cleared SSC tier 1 2015, really doubt if I can make it through tier 2 CAPF results pending (again hoping to just sail through - wont be eligible next year) MPPSC - Hard to keep this as a fallback option, bloody losers take ages to give final postings.
Failed IBPS and SBI and all Insurance AO papers once. Never prepared for even once minute for any of these and not sure if it is a good idea to leave UPSC for sometime and prepare for one of these seriously?
To be completely honest with myself, I know I did not give even my 50%, let alone 100%..but then again I really dont know if I can give 100% concentration, I know for a fact that I am not able to put in the required hours (god knows why!).
If someone is in a similar situation, please give me some suggestions as to what to do ? I am really scared to sit back at home for another year and prepare, but I also know that UPSC wont happen with a full time job. Need some time-pass job to calm down the family and take my time with UPSC.
Any help, would really be appreciated.
If you don't have any financial crisis, then certainly you should look ahead regardless of results but only if you are passionate & it's the best job of your interest because interest, passion, desire will give you the strength to dedicate & devote urself to reach the destination & what if you don't have that much passion & desire, you should put upsc aside & opt for Ssc (also a beurocratic career), it would be playing safe... And if you don't have financial back up u should join some job & continue study as u have enough age limit left.
Failed pre second time in a row. Was getting 104-112 by various keys. Might have missed by a thin margin. Goes without saying, devastated. Promised to myself will give only 2 attempts. And now I know this exam is not meant for me. I am very confused what to do next. Don't even have a proper resume to apply anywhere. Can someone please tell if any link that informs about state PCS exam date approaching? Would be great help. But that's secondary. My primary aim is to get myself a job. Started preparing immediately after passing out from college. I am not sitting jobless at home for sure though. Anybody in similar situation? What do you plan to do next? Your thoughts are welcome.
dude, this exam process is a killer. In one way or the other this gets on to you and that is why people say it is a dream to be realised. If you you want to get a job that would depend upon your resume , and as you said that it is not proper enough to apply anywhere , then i would suggest that having a degree you should apply for state PCS and at the same time build up upon your resume. Get a post grad degree or PHD for that matter, do whatever it takes but just dont get stuck. This exam is a put one get hundred scenario, to put it better it is a gamble, so it is better to take it head on in a similar manner.
