Promotion wise ITI is not that good. First promotion to ITO takes 7- 8 years and then promition to ACIT takes 14- 15 years. And even after promotion, it will bw the IRS officers who will rule the department. Work pressure is not much and you can ask for an 'insensitive' posting and mostly such requests are granted. There is enough time to prepare for any exam.

I.e. you have to work for 8 hours/day and you can go to office anytime between 8 AM to 6 PM (something like that and complete those 8 hours)
he is saying ITI also has 5 days a week.
as per me Grade B is better as it has better pay..better promotion chances(2 out of 4 RBI deputy governors are Grade B officers as per RBI policy)
