Dear Modi fans, Why are you so paranoid? Why can't you understand the simple fact which has been repeated ad nauseam-All Modi haters are not Communists/Congressis/Anti Nationalists. When will you stop painting everyone who does not agree with you with a single stroke of a single brush? I'm not a fan of Modi, I don't subscribe to his ideology and I don't at all like his style of functioning. If you must label me label me simply as Anti-Modi , don't encumber me with ideological baggage that is not even mine. It seems futile to debate with you as your entire premise is laden with assumptions and presumptions.
The thing with hating a person , group , class or community is , that after sometime , you start hating evrything , good or bad , associated in any way with them and then this hatred becomes akin to faith .

Also , do you not find it ironical that we have a thread deriding Modi and this govt in spite of your claim of pro govt aspirants ( which you label as bhakts and fans though you yourself dont want to be painted as congressi /leftist / aap etc when they label you as one) being paranoid . This cry wolf of " india is doomed " would if at all harm only india.
Hindi is just one of the regional languages, just like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam etc, in India, nothing more!
Why not speak in Tamil at international events?
Whenever this language question arises, it is by Tamils only. Just because PM spoke in Hindi, it is Tamils who feel neglected.
I am not starting any national language debate here, nor raising any prejudice against any language, but some circumstances like this would let any one to pass a biased comment.
What is the reason for being so adamant?
I have lived in Chennai which is amazing place (I really missed it when shifted to b'lore) with amazing people who were very helping. So all those preconceived notions that people there will not help those who speak Hindi were baseless. I am very proud of this.
But TN's CM during her oath taking ceremony playing state anthem and playing shorter version of National anthem was absolutely not acceptable behaviour. People were happy for this behaviour. National anthem which is hardly of 30 seconds was insulted. Why cant they feel united with rest of the country?
@scoobydoo , Aren't you being presumptuous again? Hate can be a matter of degrees, it can be transient and it can definitely be restricted to one individual. To suggest something to the effect that if I hate Modi I'll end up hating his entire community is ridiculous to say the least.
As for your second point, it is Modi fans themselves who are proud to be called so ,they wear their love for him on their sleeves and they take pride in that identity whereas when have I or any other Modi critic over here ever mentioned that he/ she is a leftist or a congress supporter? and yet all of us are clubbed together as if it is implied. Also don't you think instead of our hate it is their love for him that is akin to faith? Heck, faith does not even begin to cover it, more like a religious cult if you ask me.

oh i meant it in disjointed sense when i said hating a person , group , class , community . though sometimes it progresses in this order. If a PM of a country visits many countries and garners goodwill , how is it that this is projected as him vacationing abroad ! For a sane , rational person this inference is hilarious to say the least . But for somebody who hates him enough this is a convincing point of outrage.

Do u think me or anybody who is opposing Modi doesnt know DAT Modi is trying to get investment from abroad!! Nobody is criticising his foreign tours! But he is killing intellect and freedom and making society extremely polar and fractioned! No amount of investments can change a country faith if its resources or people r nT up to the mark!just go thru comments by modi fanatics made above! People whose thought process and language is so low do u think they ll tk this country ahead!!
Some guys are openly talking nonsense about other religions and making commentries which will put even fanatics to shame

I am not against promotion of Hindi, infact I like the language.
But why only promote at international events one language as representing India. Give due recognition to other languages as well.
The problem is no. of lok sabha seats that decides the importance of a language.
SIKKIM sends only 1 person to LS, that doesn't diminish its importance in Indian federal structure.
So why count numbers to decide the importance of a language?
If Tamil is regional language the so is Hindi and other languages.
And If Hindi is national then so is Tamil and other languages.
