Please reply from your experience from these institute.Pro's and Con's will be bonus.What should be read before join? I am newbie for UPSC preparation and i m talking about upsc 2016.
Either way its pretty much the same(they might teach you different things but efficacy wise pretty equal)..but just for something to begin with join vajiram..(if you are half comfortable with prelim paper 2 please dont join csat)..rest its the beginning of your journey..take it slow..get into the groove..baki bahut saare gyani tumhe coaching class and chai peete hue mil jayenge..unse selective gyan lete rehna..all the best!
I am planning to join Vajiram this october. After much discussion and online research I finally decided that both suck equally. Just that my Op. is Psychology and Mukul Pathak teaches at Vaji.
Don't join any. Rather get their material. Read 4-5 hours of news/editorials daily, develop a perspective on everything happening around, link that with the static portion(basic books and NCERT). Most of the ques in Mains (and prelims) emanate from current affairs only. For more interactive learning, watch youtube videos, AIR news analysis, documentaries etc. And I'm pretty sure most of the coaching institutes would have come up with online video lecture recordings by now.
sriram ias is the best...... go for it specially their eco and polity are the best taught by sriram sir himself... rest portion are equally appreciable
Dear friends, Need a small advise. I have joined a coaching institute in Hyderabad for gs. Is it advisable to leave it and go join delhi Sri ram oct batch. I'm totally new, just started my preparation. Please advise.
I have enrolled in Vajiram and Ravi (July 2015 batch) and will be giving my attempt next year. With careful observation and personal experience i'll advocate not to join any coaching institute for GS. It's complete waste of time. Join only for optional . I prepared politics, geography and some section of economics before joining coaching in June 2015. And i can easily see the difference it makes. I was able to cover much better and that too in less amount of time . And since nowadays i have to take both GS and optional classes on daily basis i hardly get any time for self study. I'm happy with optional part but a little distressed about GS since i feel it to be a complete waste of time.There's nothing new they teach there. Everything is written in NCERT's and standard books. Add internet in your study plan and it is sufficient .
To be succint no need for GS only go for optional. Hope it helps
I tried to register for vajiram oct 2015 but within an hour theit website showed gs for oct session is full so now I am thinking to join sriram....I hope it doesn't make much difference...best part in sriram is that you can personally contact sriram sir...
