Bro, coaching has no relevance to getting selected. People get selected from all coachings. This year Philosophy Topper is from Mitras, next year it may be from someone else.

P.S. This year's Philosophy Topper has recommended Mitrapal Sir heavily!

I am not joining Mitrapal sir cos a topper came from his coaching
m joining cos I want to study philosophy I have no background have no basic in this subject still I want to study :)
    thank you

Ya see you. Actually you can begin with Indian Philosophy using Dutta and Chatterjee. However many seniors suggest that only CD Sharma is enough for Indian Philosophy but i found i tough to begin with. Dutta and Chatterjee is very easy to understand. For western you can begin with Donald Palmer. I have read them and my Paper 1 base is pretty clear. In paper 2 i have not touched religion section. So i have decided to join this batch. Will bring down some stress.

  • Read topics from Palmer which are there in our syllabus.
  • How much Mitra sir is charging?/

Book by Palmer is very good for clearing the concepts of western philo.
