First you are no more a rookie. So get root to change your name.
Second, I have had a bad experience with the Interview Board last year with less than 100 marks last year. This year it was Chhatar Singh Board. Pretty cordial, but I do think I could have done better with few subjective questions. I sounded like a total techie to him, and that is not good.
So I am not really comfortable with posting the script and being judged right now. (I have too many things to worry about right now.) However, one of my friends has already posted my questions without mentioning it was mine.
I wish you and all good luck. With the kind of interview scripts I read here, I am sure about 300-400 of all selected candidates will be from our little group here. At least 20-30 IAS/IPS/IFS officers will be from among us in this thread - we just don't know which ones.
best wishes to you too, @neyawn . Just don't forget to peep in here occasionaly after getting into services.

CH: Why did you leave your job? Why do you want to come in this line? What was your job profile? Throw some light on India's Foreign Policy. Had you been asked to make changes in the FP, what all steps would you take? Tell me about India Sri Lanka relations and the remedy. Tell me about this Human Rights Issue.
M1: Tell me about the Rural Administration in India. Now in Haryana particularly. What people think about bureaucracy? What is the reason of their dissatisfaction? how can you reduce these issues?
M2: He asked 2 situation based questions only.
L1: what was the first thing in your mind when you started preparing for civil services? What can you do to gain the trust of people of your area?(few X-questioning). What qualities of yours match with that of a civil servant?
M3: Tell me how'll you use the technology for better administration? Have you visited any govt. office?what was you experience? (Meanwhile the waiter had brought samose and rasgulle and their smell distracted me totally, M3 could clearly see that I was trying hard not to drool. :P ) He asked 2-3 more questions which I forgot then and there only, all I remember is that I answered them somehow.

good interview...all the best. Btw during my interview also these distracting things came in,....but they were samosas, tea and roasted almonds!!! And suddenly my stomach growled...hehe.
@GnR Same thing happened to me, in my interview. They brought in tea and snacks and I was slightly, though not majorly, distracted by it.
Even M3 who was asking ques at that time, was looking at the lady member having rasgulla and he wanted to get rid of me asap so that he also could njy that delicious, yummy, mouthwatering rosogulla! He knew that I had figured that out.
