@Eddy- I think it's what the Lima Declaration and PoA aimed to achieve- economic globalisation through global industrial redistribution. There'd be international division of labour, deployment of production capacities to the more poor countries, technology transfer, all with the goal of redistributing 25% of world industry to developing countries by 2000.
I had my interview today in afternoon session and I was the second candidate to be interviewed by the panel.
My Background: Education: MBBS grad Work Experience: 15 months temoprary job as Junior Resident in Basaveshwara Medical College Hospital, Chitradurga. Board.: D K Deewan (Retd Vice Admiral)
At the end of the interview, I felt I missed some important points, could have answered better. In the areas which I was not comfortable, I told them little bit of what I know and I told them I wasnt sure, so they avoided further questions on that. Whichever questions I answered, I answered positively. Fingers crossed.
Hi Nikhil This yr ur interview went quite well and i am sure u ll good marks. As for me, this yr i got Razni Razdan! she didn't ask me a single question even though i was the first one to go in the forenoon session. And just in case you are wondering, we had met last year during medicals!
The most important question at this hour is, how did Nandana and Nikhil meet during medicals ?! :P
I thought all girls go to a particular hospital where no guy is scheduled !
Had my interview today was asked a lot of random questions and unusual questions I answered the questions which I was sure nd politely said no which I didn't know :-/ hoping for ok marks board was cordial cm was smiling and also was dowsing nd one member had no expression n it lasted upto 17mins by da way how is AP singh board in awarding marks?
AP Singh was smiling !!!
yup I dont why but he was nonetheless may be he was by seeing my unusual preference for service
What was your service preference ?.....
IPS first?
I thought the only way to make him smile is to put AFHQ Gp B service as first choice
No it was ifs first nd I have nly given 4 service preference

Interview Session: AN 2nd to go Duration: 30mins Education: BE Work Experience: 3.5yrs in IT Sector. Board.: Mittal Sir They grilled me on my optional sub Pub Ad(the 3 members)and one stuck with the foreign policy. 2-3 ques were scenario based Chairman asked abt my job profile, reasons for leaving, and 2-3 more questions. No questions wrt my hobbies and grad subjects. I'll post the ques soon. Still on 'travel mode'
And I am moving to the countdown thread dedicatedly. :P
First you are no more a rookie. So get root to change your name.
Second, I have had a bad experience with the Interview Board last year with less than 100 marks last year. This year it was Chhatar Singh Board. Pretty cordial, but I do think I could have done better with few subjective questions. I sounded like a total techie to him, and that is not good.
So I am not really comfortable with posting the script and being judged right now. (I have too many things to worry about right now.) However, one of my friends has already posted my questions without mentioning it was mine.
I wish you and all good luck. With the kind of interview scripts I read here, I am sure about 300-400 of all selected candidates will be from our little group here. At least 20-30 IAS/IPS/IFS officers will be from among us in this thread - we just don't know which ones.
I have attended interview on april 21 - AP Singh board.
It went around 28 minutes. This is my first attempt. members were very cordial. I was unable to decipher what is the possible outcome. Its just went like a very casual talk. Either members listening to me or I am listening to them. Nothing from my profile. Nothing from current affairs. My optional is Anthropology. Most of the questions are from anthropology. Opinion based ones. Not like names of tribes etc.
I have learnt that this is the first time he is taking interviews in Civils UPSC. Can anyone have idea about AP Singh's way of awarding marks?
One another important query I need to know. I have completed Masters in Computer Engineering in USA. When I attended interview they have asked me to submit Equivalant certificate From Association of Indian Universities for same. I have applied for the same and I hope I will receive it on this Monday. This is for my Masters degree. I have bachelors from Indian only and all relevant documents submitted at the time of interview.
I am worrying if this AIU certificate will take more time is it a problem?? Will UPSC tolerate little delays?
