@santra The reason the judges didnt want to hear it as a PIL and made you to file it as a violation of your FR is to avoid public and media scrutiny. Being in the field you would how a small thing can be used against you.
You mean to say that you argued the case yourself or with another lawyer?.
The person I talked to said that you could have filed in anyone's name (a friend, a relative etc.) and the judge wouldnt have been able to dismiss it as such. In that case shouldnt you be having letters or emails from affected parties to state your case?
In any case, if you show strong proof to the bench for your case that 10-12 questions are wrong, there is a good opportunity for having some effect. Otherwise UPSC being a reputed organisation will tend to fizz the case out. Please take the help of forum for gathering material for the case.
agreed, argued it myself. i do understand personal repercussions, but i might not write this exam again, even though i havent exhausted my attempts. i seriously dont care. let them do what ever they can against me. i personally feel they wont witch hunt, even if they do, let them.

no witch hunt from upsc side for filing the case. upsc un-intentionally causes so much pain to aspirant that no extra effort is needed from their side.
Rest fight for the case but plz don't ask for cancellation of exam. whatever key or answer is suitable let upsc select on that basis 13300 odd people.
yes for god sake keep the current process out of this.... many do not have time or resources to give their fate in the hand of court and then wait for eternity.
@santra Of course even I feel there will nothing of the sort of a witchhunt. It is only a body occupied by bureaucrats for a small period. I just wanted to drive the point for using authentic sources for stating the case strongly.
Btw there are email ids of some staffs in the supreme court. You think they would forward it to the justice?. Easier for people from all corners of the country and quicker.

@santra ask lawyers in the forum jinka bhi nahi hua..one person here was saying that he has a lawyer friend ..we can ask him also..we can create a new thread for legal help from law students.. In court if u will give concrete sources for answers , they will have to do something
@santra seeing the order, it is very clear from the very first sentence that they didnt want it to be PIL. UPSC hurriedly releasing result is also an effect of this.
If you are able to convince judges of the prevalence of multiple answers,then my lawyer friends are sure UPSC would be asked to explain their stand or atleast release answer keys immediately like many other competitive exams. In that case this would be a welcome reform in the UPSC process.
Secondly if as you claim 10-12 questions are proven to be having multiple answers, you can ask for cancellation of such questions as should be the proper course for any exam body.
Or, increase in intake is a good and reasonable demand too. Afterall UPSC is capable of conducting exams for so many people and in case of such a scenario in prelims, they should take the initiative and allow more people to give mains exam.
For now these are my thoughts. All depends on how well you present your demands and prove your claims on monday. Wish you luck on that!. Kudos to you for the efforts. Hope more people air their clear thoughts and provide foo inputs here to help you and make the case stronger.

hey people on the forum, see these "opportunist rats" finally coming out of the holes who till yesterday were insensitive to santra's efforts..
till yesterday, their intelligent mind was saying to themselves- "hey act intelligently man.. lets wait for the results.. why to waste energy in wasteful activities!! those who are doing, let them do!! you just keep a watch, eat and study in ur room.. dont waste time... if benefit comes, comes to all.. if unluckily I fail then i ll think next course of action.. why to take advance action??"
imo its late now... had u joined santra before, powerful impact will have led to change in 2017 results, now its impossible.. at max, it will culminate into a compensatory attempt for all those who appeared in 2017.. attached with a directive/warning to upsc not to deviate from "factually determinate" to "interpretive questions" at the stage of prelims..

First of all convince the bench to set an expert team and examine the ambiguity of the quests . This will buy us some time to gather more effectively and your case will be strengthen and your voice will became stronger .
This will be a blow and a lesson to UPSC that in future also if they set up such quests same thing will be repeted and its prestige as BEDAG commission be will affected .
Whatever happens next leave it to next .

The quests on which you raised your doubts where are the answers of that quests you must be given the justice by the disclouser of the right answers with explanations .
Strech UPSC and court to provide you the answers and explanations . If you get success in getting this done , this will be bring court n upsc and loggerhead .
UPSC will try its best not to provide you any answers and you will get justice only when the UPSC will give you the right answers and explanations .
If this could happen rest increasing of intake , deleting ambigous quests , or providing the marks of those ambigous quests to those aspirants who attempt those quests that process will automatically start and thats the diffrent arguments as of know only thing that you can do is to strech the case , buy some time , try to set an expert committe and put a first punch and Dag on this Bedag commission .
