This year also, single line straight questions from Polity Laxmikanth, economy.. hence not much difference... Am also scared, because getting just 114.. I pray ki cut off km Jaye, but doesn't seem so.. many of my friends in 125+ range.

Plus 2014 total marks were 385 as compared to 400 in 2013, isko bhi ignore maar do
Bhai score of many improved, as the section that was removed was of English passages ..2-2 column ke passages hote the.and many like me used to score -ve in that section..!

All those who are scoring near about 104-108 should not lose hope and prepare for Mains.Due to controversial & tricky nature of questions and many are failing in CSAT, the cutoff can fall significantly. And who knows that your doubtful answer matches with the UPSC keys and you get more marks than expected. So utilize your precious time for mains preparations. In any case, one has to appear in mains to get into the service, either this year or next year. So don't waste your time in predicting the cutoff unnecessarily. Start Preparing!

tere no. kejri range se neeche hai to matlab mere paper dene par hi shak karega tu
kejri kuch had tak theek keh rha hai....jyada seats thi...agar 2013 se barabar seats hote ..to cutoff sayad 3-4 marks increase hota plus 15 marks asaan hote hai usmein...lekin meri tarah hindi medium valo ke usmein around 8 marks aate aur English valo ke around 13...so on average 11 marks maan lo....so u can increase the cutoff by 15b marks...i.e in 2014 at same level with 2013....cutoff would have been 220...matlab 21 marks ka fall in difficult paper...lekin 2014 mein csat tha uske effect ko hataye to kariban 21 mein se 12 marks decrease kar sakte hai....so fall of 9 marks in gs based on difficulty of paper.....
lekin 2017 aur jyada khatin hai 2014 gs se to fall kariban 11-12 marks tak ka ho sakta hai... 2016 mein cutoff 116..us hisaab se 2017 mein 104... lekin 2017 mein seats kariban (1209-988=)231 kam hai....cutoff ke aas paas crowding hota hai to 231*13= kariban 3000...matlab is baar kariban 12000 hi select hoga....1 mark par 1000 to mil hi jayega....matlab 3 marks badega kam seat se.....
