As far as the loud seeker goes in ethics gs4 there is topic called values in public services and courage one of the most sought after value Among the bureaucrats guys and girl show some courage and call 100 whenever the loudspeaker exceeds the time limit I gave done it my self several times and police has responded with due regard
This is an issue in delhi... firstly marriage season coincides with mains date...secondly winter is construction period in delhi ..all day drillers..cutters and other machines make noise... so please try to make some sound reduction arrangements... personally i use normal ear plugs.. they help reduce it to a bit extent.
@bodo dear I won't say delhi people are nuisance creator but in my view it depends on locality .. In south delhi people rarely do this and if do then that's also till 11 max even marriages coz people file complaint but in this Karol bagh area people are so fun loving that on any little occasion their speakers and mikes come out... U won't believe they do karaoke on mike and even tell cheap jokes on mike... In other parts of delhi this is rarely a problem ..literacy level has a lot to do with it
are you sure that those making noise over loudspeaker are illeterate??
I said literacy level... Only reading books doesn't make a person literate or educated nor does having a degree... What a person learns and apply is more important...
what people learn and what they apply has no relation with their education level you can observe in this problemetic situation and by the way literacy has its defination but it has nothing to do with this problem.
...a literate person knows how to behave in society and if one doesn't know then that person is worst than illiterate... Anyways what I tried to say has nothing to do with what u inferred so better leave it... A literate person will never say nonveg jokes on mike... Why u going with the literal meaning when I m trying to say a thing in a broader sense...anyways leave... All d best gud bye
there is no narrow or broder meaning to be inferred as the term 'literate' has a very strict defination otherwise whole census exercise of GOI will be in jeoprady.

I did it 3 times. Police responded very well due to Good work culture in delhi police I suppose.
All the landlords and brokers in Orn are cowards and are scared of the police as all the construction is illegal and are illiterate they would shit in their pants if u call the police .i have experienced this myself My land lord had asked to vacate a month before the exams I called the police he got so scared the he didn't even open the door when the police arrived and later told "beta" Jitne diin rehna hain reh lo main toh mazak kar rahah tha on the other hand If they find u vulnerable they would try to suppress u even more so be bold
@doc you may shift to dwarka..it's quite peaceful here..rooms are of good quality and cheap..Only drawback is distance is around 30 min to 1 hour using metro from ORN depending on which sector u live in..
