frustration yeh bhi hai ki saala ambiguous questions ki wajah se katta....apna 100% effort diya tho or kisi incompetent paper setter ki wajah se saari mehnat paani mein
Ambigious aur factual questions ne l laga diye. Mere jo saare Vajiram aur Shankar keys se sahi aa rhe the Nitrogen, Panchayati raj, westerlies,Custodian etc - pakka ye saare galat hue hain Aur ye factual questions dete hi kyun hai. Inko ratt ke kya bhala hota hai kisika?
I am in the same boat as you both. Going to turn 27 soon..failed pre in 2012, wrote mains in 2013 & 2014, but failed mains..have given a few exams like Ibps, SBI and SSC..once I cleared ibps written but failed in final result..SSC cleared tier 1 twice..but failed mains...gave assistant commandant exam twice..once cleared written but failed pet. 2nd time didn't qualify. The reason I think I didn't clear any of the mentioned exams is because I devoted all my energy on Upsc civil services and felt that will take care of these exams..
So basically, I too am dejected and don't know what to do. I am jobless and my parents don't have any business or any connection to start to get a job. Well..my dad..can but he won't. Or maybe I am too shy to ask..dunno what to do in life.
Shattered..completely. Was hoping that even if I am in margin I will clear as I had cleared by just few marks in 2013 & 2014. 2013 mains was crap, 2014 there was a dramatic improvement and if it was 2013...I swear I would have been in the final list. So was hoping that if trend continues, then hopefully if i get to write mains this year, i will atleast get interview call as i had been studying and writing regularly. Now I am feeling pathetic and direction less.
Totally dead inside.
Please help.
you are exactly same like me.. m again ahead of u.. i cleared CAFT written 2012, 2013,2014 .. did not go for 2012 PET because prelims 2013 was 20 days ahead.. I was desperate for job as i have written after 2013 mains fail so i focused very much on 2013 PET but disqualified in long jump..
then i failed 2014 PT exam but cleared CAPF 2014, and thought god gave me chance again so i put everything i coulg for PET 2014 , practiced for 2 month daily for 2 hour in early morning at 7 am in winter.. but guess what failed again in PET , i had no clue what happend to me..
you are right we should focus on backup, get a job and then jump back to upsc if at all we can do it..
ab suno. mai 2010 me last mains likha tha. i am 30+. 5 saal!!.. socho 5 saal ke gap ke baad mujhe ye mauka dobara mil paya. arre kya hua agar pre nhi hua to?? kambakht likhe honge tumne 5 mains, iss baar nahi, to agli baar hoga na.. kyu pareshan hai aap log? meri sthiti me nahi hai aap sab... enjoy karo friends. 2016 me FINAL selection ki socho.
@Musa_Ka_Gul bhaiyya, pehchane? Nahi hua mera. Lekin I m not a bit negative. This was 3rd attempt. Waise aapka hua?
Dosto bahut Jayada inspiration ya out of box ja k mat sochna.. I don't want to be pessimistic but with current pattern this exam is gamble..i have been writing mains every time this could have been my 5th mains but I cudnt qualify.. Believe me this exam. Is total gamble.. 100 random questions are thrown at you..my suggestion is.. Do prepare but along with job. I know you will find many people telling you many inspirational stories.. But there are lacs of failure stories also who no body tells. There are thousands people who got very good rank when they were in job.. If you are 26plus.. Don't repeat the mistake of putting all your eggs in a single basket..and don't be so. Sad.. Don't think extreme.. Just relax.. Let the feeling of failure sink in.. And don't take any decision in haste at least for another 4 5 days just relax.. Take proper rest.. Spend time with family members and friends and get back to books or join job... Life is not ias.. Ias is not life. This is yet another exam and it' doesn't check your hardwork or intellect only.. Luck does matter...good night.. Thanks moderator and owner of forum.. Bye tc
And preparing with job is the best option now because we have already read everything. Now it is just luck. And trust me if you have job in hand, it feels much much better. At times it is difficult to manage but you can do it. Agar bhagwan/allah/Jesus ne chaha to agli baar jarur hoga. I am planning to start preparation after 2-3 days. My immediate.priority is APFC and then will focus on UPPSC.
