Bhai I want bihar cadre , belongs to gc.... so seats are very limited rather nil for insider what to do to get bihar cadre?
very simple,don't fill bihar as ur home state.put some xyz state as ur home state and put it on 1st preference and put bihar on 2nd preference.upsc may likely allot u 2nd preference as an outsider.
I know that Naxal infected areas would be top priority, but apart from those areas,,,
Any clue about AGMUT, Maharasthra, Rajasthan as cadres for IPS?
First of all your signature line is really very good and I am also trying to follow that path because my communication skill is not so good and having lil bit of stammering problem also so I am not expecting anything from the interview and neither I will.
Another thing, as you have asked for suggestion for the top IPS cadres then apart from Chattisgarh and Jharkhand (as already you have mentioned that Naxal affected areas would be your top priority), Maharasthra should be at the next priority.
Lot of scope is available in Maharashtra for the IPS officers due to some factors which are commonly not found in the other states.
There is another issue, i've heard (from not so reliable sources) that Maha cadre tends to favor officers from home state (that is original Marathis). Now that is the case in Punjab, but is it the same in Maharashtra too?
Guys how is home state decided, for people who have spent life at numerous cities, do we have to justify our home state some where???

No justification needed.It can be state where you do graduation,homes state.It is better if there is some link between you and your home state but it is not necessary
