  • I was the last candidate of the last day of interview i.e, Feb 20.
    Board Chairman : Brigadier A.K.Pattanayak
    Total Members: 6
    Total duration: 35-40 MINUTES
My first question was from the chairman who asked about my job profile and problems I have faced in the field as a Lady surgeon....After 2 questions, other members followed...Chairman was simply watching the body language and facial expressions ( I was somehow drained up after waiting for 4 hours from 9am to 1.30 pm )
Q3: What are the loopholes in the present policies of the govt. ?
Q4: Are the policies successful in achieving their targets or not? If not why and how to solve the problem?
Q5: What change would you make in the policy structure?
Q6:How will you tackle your subordinates who will feed you with false data from field?
Q7: What is Embryo Transfer Technology? Is it feasible in Odisha ? If no, why?
Q8:Why is western Odisha less developed than other parts of Odisha?
Q9: Why dairy farming, sheep/ goat farming are not preferred by farmers of that region? What can be done to encourage them to go for animal rearing as the best source of self- employment?
Q10: Tell 5 Sentences about Siachen Glacier.
Q11: Who is James Herriot? ( I didnt know who he was and i directly denied....)
The last question came from the Chairman again...
Q12: Where would you like to see yourself 20 years from now?

From the above questions what they asked you mostly based on your optionals i guess , like veterinary and geography so i feel they focus on optional . And the policies you were asked , are they keen to know about state policies or central scheme . and how you represent then i mean point wise or in a brief manner??

What will you do if Employees coming Late..Reporting False....General awareness like VAT..GST....Governance etc....One or Two questions will be bombarded to which you will have no answer ..Only to put you in Pressure and check your reaction..But at the same time ..They are Helpful too….They give you hints in finding your Answer.
Apart From this,..Dress also play Vital part in making a Positive impression on the Interviewers I believe ..As Dress is the Spokesperson of your Personality....At the End of Day…Be Physically fit..Mentally agile and Clear about your Basics But Ultimately that 25 min ,more than Anything else ,will count and Decide What you have been....Happy Landings...!!!

  • I answered everything in brief because I was more comfortable in that way.
Policies pertained to both central and state. Nothing specific.
