Ohk . very Lame question ..but wat is the estimated salary of an OAS wen posted after 7 th pay ?? ..
Not a lame question at all..afterall we are all rational economic man apart from public service we need to make a living for ourselves. After 7pay expect around 10-12k more I.e around 63-65k
I would be around 65000-67000 pm gross salary after 7th pay.
I am in Odisha state govt PSU right now in the same pay scale ( Basic 15600-39100, 5400 GP). Its not that 25000 will deducted as Ganganarayan brother has said. With a gross salary of 65000, one must get at least 52000-53000 in hand(take home) if he has shown his savings rightly during IT declarations. So be happy for the moment now :-)

Actually i didnt know it buddy..i just guessed..can u plz brk up the whole amount into deductions, pays & various allowances...
Its totally fine brother :-) See it differs from organisation to organisation. But roughly a class I oficer after 7thpay comision would get 65000 gross at the minimum ( as it seems ). On that deductions like NPS ~ 6000, income tax ~ 4000 ( this deduction after you show investments of 2 lakhs per year only, otherwise u may incur more deductions) and other deductions say adding to 2000 more. That is 12000 total deduction. You would possibly get 53000 or 52k in hand. Again as I said it differs from org to org. I may also b wrong somewhere above but people have discussed and are continoulsy discusing it in ofc and the above is the conclusion for now.
