Guys, this is the most happening thread right now so posting a query regarding an urgent matter. Sorry for it.
I need to take leave of about a 1 month for preparation and writing exams. I am thinking of taking medical leave. Can someone suggest what disease can easily get me one month leave? It should not be some surgery or disease like Ebola, else it may attract too much attention.
Help plz! If there are many like me then we can start a new thread
Typhoid or Jaundice are common ones. Go for it. Make sure to show some symptoms of these diseases 1-2 weeks prior to your plan. Take early exits from office, act like you are feeling dizzy etc. Got it ? :-D
Thanks for the suggestion. I was also thinking about jaundice but was not sure 'cause it causes skin to pale (so I heard). I think typhoid would do
I said I broke my right collar bone by falling from a bike..
sananthan has given the right answer. Yes, tell the truth. I failed in IES interview and have mentioned it. Didnt hide anything. It may not create a wrong impression in the board since how come they'll know you are lying or not? . But remember after getting into service you have 1 year probation period. During that time if something props up...then it can be a big problem.
@bulla sincere apologies for drifting into the magnificent world of Kanti Shah. You see, one just can't remain immune to his brilliance. As to your query, write down everything. Just in case the board does a background check this time and finds that you've concealed information, you're wise enough to answer what impression would it have on them then. Savvy?
@messi_ronaldo , 10? More like 24. I sleep talk Rangarajan poverty estimates and how Mary Antoinette was a b*tch to suggest 'if they can't have bread, let them eat cake.' But on a serious note, I wish I had a formula for success. I really do. I'd have joyfully shared it with you, and everyone else. Till then you can have my wishes, yeah? Meri bharpoor shubhkamnayein tumko. Safalta tumhe avashya praapt hogi. Tumhara shubhekchhu, sadaiv.
@Neanderthal the formula that u apply while preparing is the formula of success ...bas u r nt self conscious about it..i just want to know how will u prepare these next 30 odd days..that vl be the standard for me...u see marie in dreams...really?? I see the mystic who miraculously healed her son ...i hope he does some miracle for me too...:P
at IFS aspirants ,here my take: 1) one will get 2 free to and fro tickets to home in 3 years. First one will go alone and stay for 4-5 months and adjust with the situation. Then return back home and bring your family and with them spend the rest 3-4 years abroad. If they get bored ,one can take them back home with your another free ticket. 2) Its better not to look for plum postings at first, in US,UK, Germany, france,etc...since that would be reserved for people having long connections. One can chose other countries where decent standard of living is there and are not much on the radar of people having connections. For eg. Australia, China, Singapore, Ireland,UAE, Turkey etc. 3)If one wants to stay longer abroad, its better to take language like arabic, chinese (either cantonese or mandarin) , japanese....etc...since it takes longer time for training
