  • insights prelims test series keep you sustained in the process of journey of preparation. you indirectly become ready for mains also as by the end of the test you will be done with all the basic books and many of the reference books also that will be helpful to go forward for mains.

  • Anyone joining mains program?
Do they have mains test series? Can't see any mention on their website. @bhaz

  • As per the reply received from Insight. Their Prelims 2015 test series would be launched sometime in Sept and would have 30-35 tests. Expect the details to come out in a few days.
  • insights test series is good, we should follow religiouslly , waiting for 2015 test series also
  • Insights test series was very good........i do recommend it to everyone. It forced me to learn "NCERTs" which was a very difficult task #:-S in the begining..but as the time passed ...all went smoothly. i am planning to join it again.
  • An Open Letter to Insightsonindia.com
    Dear Insights team,
I feel this time the cost of Insights Test Series is quiet high. I am discouraged to buy it mainly because of its high cost. You could have reasonably priced it around Rs,3000. Right now, everyone is trying to form groups to share the cost. Had you priced it lower than the current price, everyone would have directly bought it from you. I also request you not to compare yourself with Delhi Coaching centers in pricing. We do get their test series photocopied everywhere. It won't take much time for people to just retype the questions from your test in a word doc. and circulate them in the market. I do consider the quality of your questions yet trying to monopolize the market with high costs is an unwelcome and unethical move from your team. I request you to reconsider the pricing.
  • @WildRose

Thank you for your Open Letter.

We encourage you to share your cost with your friends. The price appears high, but the lots of hard work and costs that are involved in running a website usually go unnoticed. There are more than 10 initiatives on the website that run for free of cost. If we were greedy, we would have started Mains Test series as well. When we started first series, the site was not popular and costs involved were less.

Monthly costs have soared (thanks to surge in traffic and high cost of website maintenance).

We are neither trying to monopolize nor trying to compete with anyone, that too especially with Delhi institutes. We have encouraged economically weaker aspirants to share the cost. It may be easy for you to type questions and distribute, but it takes hard work to produce quality tests. We hope you appreciate the positives too.

Your suggestion that reducing the price further to Rs 3000 for 33 tests sounds unreasonable.

The price is also high because we plan to provide Old Tests for free of cost to all our subscribers in near future. Spending Rs 6k for 55 tests is the cheapest you can get.

    Thanks again.

@All thank you for your support.
