Bhai waise why didnt IVC people domesticate horses? I mean, they were much faster and efficient than ox, bulls...
bhai there are several reasons for some things... harappans k saath ssath exta-harappan chalcolithic cultures flourush karte the (lke OCP cultures, banas cultures, nevasian cultures) but they didn't shifted to urban life.. today also rural people not easily move out till life becomes strenuous..
why humans shifted to agriculture despite hunting gathering being easier mode of life is also another wonderful Qs with many explanations..
So u think it was not bec there were not many horses and due to these reasons??? Ok Bye!!!
i will sugest u to read this excerpt from D K bhattacharya.. a noted archaeologist..
Why did deccan neo-chalcolithic cultures not changed despite the fact that they had knowledge of new & better technology?
See D K Bhattacharya p.g 150-151
Dude chillax... Am leaving... didn't open since last night wont open till the result.. we ll do some bakar post result, till then c ya!! Have fun!!

Bhai UPSC nahi padne wala itne sare writers ..they will go with some standard and easily available books like NCERT type....they know that question was asked from civil service aspirants not from historians..
Dk bhattacharya (or agarwal) is followed in every university as base book.. its not randomly searched book.. its kind of ncert for university purposes.. and NCEERT m bhi surkotda h
It is not about domestication...the statement says "there is no evidence of Indus Valley people having been aware of this animal"
I also marked C (1&3), lakin vision k hisab se 1 only
Aur mohanjodado movie me bhi horse dikhaya hai...
Mohejodaro movie ke director me kaha the that he considers IVC to be an Aryan civilisation and hence he's shown the horses and people speaking a Sanskrit version of Hindi in the movie. Us time bhi controversial Tha yeh sab and there was an article that I remember reading
