The whole 50 years history has to be blamed. Minimum Government. Maximum Governance. Ye slogan kyun ayya? Sach to ye hai not a single private entity - small or big - and no one employed in the private domain and no aam admi has any problem with this slogan. They are okay with it. And we know why. The system started rotting since 1950s and still continues to do so. Congress with its 50 years rule has to share the blame. And I am not supporting BJP here.

I would still say read Upinder. Don't look at the size. The description, pictures, illustrations are beautifully given. The book is not at all boring like other ancient history books.
