There are 2 main reasons that our jointly sponsored business of speculation is still teeming with activity: 1. That our Godfather hasn't put down His final word. 2. That the protests may file a PIL not just before the Prelims, they may do so even after the prelims is over. However, predominantly, our anxiety stems from the callous behaviour of our Godfather. Had UPSC come up with a notification announcing that it stands by the changes announced on the floor of the house, our business would have met a peaceful demise (and I wish it had). But true to its tenor of being a sadist (or arguably a superb examiner who tests psychological strength without a test paper), our Godfather just couldn't keep things straightforward. Just like the other phases of this examination, even this one tests our ability to maintain equanimity and focus amidst chaotic situations. The most important part of this test will be our ability to prevent the chaos "without" from streaming "within". So all the best friends for passing the "Pre-Prelims".

Though I have not used either, but I would say go with McGrawhill. Their team of authors is better than that of Arihant. And plus Arihant publications has a flair for errors (specifically with regard to its books for UPSC).
