  • The demands raised by protesters lacked logic and were high on rhetoric. Effectively their demands were political and hence the solution offered by the government is also political.
Now the next logic the protesters are giving is that we are against those remaining passages too, which is primarily done in English and translated into Hindi. They still can't afford to oppose Maths and reasoning. Fact of the matter is ki, Bihar ke ek chhote e ganv me bhi koi support nai karega maths ka virodh karne walo ko..
  • If there is a problem in system of including english questions what will happen to other govt exams like of banks etc. now accrding to govt english questions are not right we can expect them to removed from every exam.
  • I believe that govt is trying to avoid litigation in this year's exam by not making major changes. In the present decision they have restructured the 2nd paper without making significant pattern changes. Also they seem to avoid printing of new papers. If they are still keeping the weightage of marks for 2nd paper same then nobody can object for removal of English questions. But in case the weightage is reduced by 20 marks, can a litigation be filled? I am sure no pro csat guy will do that but anti csat people can do it in case there is no postponement.
  • Where is NaMO! he may come up with better and final decision...
  • They could have reduced marks of CSAT questions from 2.5 to 1.25 and made the paper of 100 marks. I just don't understand how these highly qualified senior officers can make such stupid decisions!
Yes absolutely. UPSC should give every student the chance to customize his/her own paper. Students can choose the weightage of various sections, number of questions and marking pattern etc. It should be like Subway, you choose your own bread, veggies, cheese and sauce. Oh I forgot, you can ask them to roast the bread also. Yummy.
  • Nomo will say pashupathi nath ji ki jai

anyway this a pattern change....previously the paper was evaluated based on 80 questions and now 72....it differs from the original notification....

He is planning his next foreign visit. It is actually a double whammy for us as it increases the syllabus of IR to be covered :P
  • Wow, what a total mockery of democracy!! Some 1000 odd protest and 20 marks from a paper are reduced. Such a shame, but no worries, this had added more fire to the preparation!! No more talks, Only action now!! Jaise Eet ka Jawab patthar se, waise Marks reduction ka jawab highest score se!!
