Just wanted to know if there is any optional which can be prepared without any coaching coz every aspirant i meet recommend me to join coaching for respective optional and told me as you need to have in depth knowledge and conceptual clarity joining coaching becomes must @-) :-/
ye forum pe sb comments ka time and arrangement khrab hua pda yan meri id mein hi galat show ho raha? @narendra_9 agriculture is not a popular optional so finding relevant material may become a problem. overlapping wise paper 1 is very much relevant in context of Gs-3, but paper 2 will demand a lot of interest in biology. interesting lagta hai bhai to go for it, par paper 2 mein kafi bio hai mere hisab se. I have studied some parts of paper 1 like water efficiency and irrigation etc in my civil engineering curriculum and even they tend to be scientific in nature. so considering your background bhai, take it only if you find most of its syllabus content very interesting. plus, do ask someone who actually has agri as optional here. btw, geography socha tha na bhai apne pehle?

Geography to jaha tak hai final hi hai yr, coaching,test series available h Bhopal me or net pe guidance bhi kafi hai...bas Competition ka darr lag jata h kabhi kabhi Being not from IIT or IIM or NIT or AIIMS i sometimes feel would i really be able to do it, last year around 4000 gave mains and only 320 got selected from Geography... was just giving it thought And yes more than half syllabus of paper 2 is related to Bio which is big NOO for me
