    Today someone around me used the slang of Ullo(owls).

    Us ko sun kar muje apne pyaare owls dost yaad aa gaye. :(

    My surprise turned into astonishment when i compared the mindset of india and western country. People of west respect both owl and donkey. Owl is associated with wisdom and donkey is associated with hardworking persons.Here we treat them as a slang to abuse others.

    But here in our culture we respect lion , sher ka bachha hai ,ab sher ka bacha bada ho kar adamkhor banta hai tho iss me surprise wali kya baat hai.Sher ka kaam hee marna hai.

    May be we as a culture is behind in the psyche to west. Whole psyche needs to be changed. Make in india ,vake in india se kuch nahi hone wala,unless we change our mindset. :)
  • Knock Knock. Newspaper at your service!!
    Bhai, summary de do :P

    Bhai. Without any disrespect to any political ideology, 56 inch ka seena and similar literary devices also illustrate this very mentality.

    Ironically, Ahimsa and Tolerance has been gloralised as values of irreplaceble importance in India (In the name of Budhha and Gandhi) This in a way made people of India tolerant to oppression and helped britishers rule us for 200 years, however our vedic society was never for Ahimsa and fight for dharma was given higher weightage. Self defense is permitted and killing of terrorists or enemies of state is justified on same ground.

    However, Under the influence of foreign funded human right activists brainwashing of Indian minds has been done to such an extent that, today people are condemning hanging of Afzal guru, Encounter of Shahabuddin/ Ishrat Jehan..

    @KarmaYogi

    Veer ji, Totally agree to you up to some extent, yes we were responsible for becoming slaves of british. We were weak and were fighting among each other like dogs. Just see what mugals were doing.

    But how can we become strong??

    Do we need muscle power and rush of blood to achieve this, or we need appropriate strategy and calm mind ??
  • @Dhanveer @hummingbird

    watch the originals, better than vampire diaries.
