Require Advice: Does it makes sense to go to Delhi now, or is it too late?

edited February 2015 in Miscellaneous
I gave CSE 2014 but failed to clear the prelims mainly due to bad score in paper 2. I then went ahead to join my job. I can get back to studies due to decreased workload, but am skeptical now - Am I too late to catch the bus?
In my first attempt, I didn't joined any classes. But now I am in a position where I can manage to live in Delhi for next six months. The question is - How much benefit is there in moving to Delhi at this stage? Or I am better eqipped in my hometown Jaipur.

  • for pre not much difference where ur but it matters a little in mains preparation ,u can join any good banking institutions of Jaipur for csat paper 2 . for paper 1 follow standard buks ,mrunal, insight because there are other advantages of living at home like food n peace of mind .
  • there is no need to join ne coaching for prelims and not at all for paper 2. any decent teacher can help you in paper 2 which would be available in plenty even in tier 3 cities.
  • CL will begin classroom teaching batch in this week or 4th week of feb for paper 2 of prelims in ORN maybe...
  • You can go to Delhi any time... It's ever lively like an equatorial rain forest.... But as others suggested, studying at home with online help is a better way to go about it... Purely your call... Necessity of coaching depends upon your levels of prep, the stage of prep, the amounts of guidance you expect etc.. Atb
