There’s a story by R.K.Narayan about an astrologer who had to flee his hometown after attacking somebody. He is living in a small town by pretending that he is an astrologer then one day his old enemy, who he thinks he had killed long time ago comes and asks for a prediction. Shivering, the astrologer says at last that the man he has been searching is dead, and the story ends with both of them satisfied, (in the astrologers case he was thinking all those years that he had committed a sin, by killing someone, and his enemy was burning with his revenge and now he is happy that his adversary is dead). This story is an excellent example of how manipulative such a science can be.

Personally I do not believe in any astrology. Still I have some curiosity in theosophy and like minded sciences too.I think I have to explore a lot, still an interesting science.
    Nice discussion, though :)

Would you like to try my astrology? You may change your opinion. Come on, don't be like that. Show me your palm. I have children to feed. 8->

Trust me on this. My friend once approached some jyothishya fellow. Just looking at my friend's face he said "You have a birthmark on your reproductive part". Friend shocked and readily nodded. We were like =)) =))
